Generation 4 Heroes

Generation 4 Heroes – Explanation, Advantages and Disadvantages

With the 4th generation of heroes, Kingshot introduces the three new SSR heroes Alcar, Rosa, and Margot. Generation 4 becomes relevant at around 180 days and brings a noticeable shift in the meta. One of the biggest mistakes many players make is spreading their resources across all three heroes at the same time. It is far more effective to decide based on playstyle, game mode, and budget.

Especially in Generation 4, it is better not to upgrade everything blindly, but to set clear priorities. This helps save resources and allows you to get much more value out of your account.

Alcar – The Infantry Hero with Mixed Reviews

Alcar is the new infantry hero of Generation 4. While he does offer some useful frontline qualities, many players rate him more critically than the other two Gen 4 heroes. His abilities provide some protection and damage reduction for allies, but overall his kit does not feel as well-rounded as that of a classic tank.

Advantages:

  • Useful frontline hero for infantry setups
  • Can protect allies and reduce damage in certain situations
  • Can still be interesting as a defensive addition

Disadvantages:

  • Often considered the weakest Generation 4 hero
  • Part of his kit feels too offensive for a tank
  • Usually not a priority for F2P and many mid-spenders
  • Often skipped by many players

Rosa – The Most Important Generation 4 Hero for Most Players

Rosa is the marksman hero of Generation 4 and, for many players, the most important Gen 4 investment. Her greatest strength lies in support: she can remove debuffs, even clear stuns, and give the team temporary protection against control effects. On top of that, she also boosts attack, making her extremely valuable in many lineups.

Advantages:

  • Very strong support hero for Arena and offensive teams
  • Removes debuffs and protects the team from control effects
  • Highly valuable outside of Arena as well thanks to her support abilities
  • A top priority for F2P, mid-spenders, and P2W players alike
  • For many players, the best and safest Generation 4 investment

Disadvantages:

  • Not a classic tank or burst-damage hero
  • Her full potential shines most in well-synergized teams
  • Relies more on support and utility than raw damage

Margot – A Strong Damage Dealer with Great Potential

Margot is the cavalry hero of Generation 4 and a very strong offensive hero. She deals high area damage and can avoid incoming damage through her parry mechanic. This makes her not only dangerous, but also more durable than she may appear at first glance.

Advantages:

  • Very high area damage in Arena
  • Strong in offensive setups and PvP fights
  • Also excellent for rallies and other damage-focused situations
  • More durable than many other offensive heroes thanks to her mechanics
  • A very strong choice for Arena-focused and advanced accounts

Disadvantages:

  • Usually not the first priority for F2P players
  • Efficient upgrading is often more difficult or expensive
  • Less important if your focus is not on Arena or offensive setups

Recommended Priority for Generation 4

For many players, the following priority order makes the most sense for Generation 4:

  1. Rosa – the best and safest investment for almost all players
  2. Margot – especially strong for Arena, rallies, and offensive accounts
  3. Alcar – more situational and skippable for many accounts

Conclusion

Generation 4 is strong, but not every hero provides the same value for every account. Rosa is the best all-round investment for most players. Margot is ideal for players who prefer an offensive style and want to deal more damage in Arena or rallies. Alcar can still be useful, but is viewed much more critically and is not considered a must-have for many players. If you invest your resources wisely, you will get far more value out of Generation 4.
